REFINED DINING EXPERIENCE
Refined Dining Experience In Montreal
Bistro Nolah was created as a welcoming, unpretentious eatery serving comfort food inspired by the flavors of New Orleans. According to Montreal Gazette food critic Lesley Chesterman, the restaurant has clearly achieved that goal, with nearly every seat filled on a recent Tuesday night, a time when many downtown restaurants are often quiet.
Southern cuisine is still relatively rare in Montreal, but chef Richard Taitt brings it to life with skill and authenticity. His menu highlights classic New Orleans dishes such as gumbo and jambalaya, while also offering one of the city’s few Charleston-style shrimp and grits plates.
Bistro Nolah has also received national recognition. Its popular brunch has been ranked among the 50 best in Canada, making it a standout dining and brunch destination in Montreal’s West Island.
